dismissal all church activities will be cancelled as well. A message will be

About Parking: Just a reminder that we
have parking on the west side of the FLC and permission to park at the
office of Dr. Moses, Universal Credit Union, and Beard Mortuary (when
there's no funeral). As a courtesy to others please respect the Handicap and
Visitor parking spaces on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings and Wednesday
nights.

- Children's Bible
Quizzing Children are studying Joshua, Judges, and
Ruth with practice on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. For more information about

- Ladies Visitation Those who would like
to visit the shut-ins are invited to meet at the church at noon on the 2nd and
4th Tuesdays of each month. Questions? See Shirley Staggs or call

THE FIRST OF THE YEAR.
- Blood Pressure / Blood Sugar Clinic
every 2nd Sunday of the month before Sunday School and after morning and
evening worship services in the Sunday School office by the church

STUDIES... all groups meet at 7:00 p.m. for one hour, except for Peace
University (6:30-8:30)
- Max Lucado's FEARLESS - Led by Joey
Saxton, meets in the Win-a-Couple classroom. Begins Wednesday, January 6,
2010. What if faith, not fear, was your default reaction to threats? If you
could hover a fear magnet over your heart and extreact every last shaving of
dread, insecruity and doubt, what would remain? Com join us as we envision a
day where we could fear less and trust more.
- PROPHECY AND THE SECOND COMING OF
CHRIST- Taught by Arnold Dunlap and Dallas Moore, this class meets in
the sanctuary.
- NEHEMIAH: MAN OF RADICAL OBEDIENCE-
Facilitated by Cindy Weaver, this group meets in the Journey SS classroom
behind the platform. A captivating study of an often over-looked Old Testament
book. Each lesson offers valuable observations to help deepen faith, inspire
hope, and strengthen the resolve to follow God's leading at all costs.
Workbooks have a personal daily study to be completed in time for the weekly
overview during the group meeting.
- DAVE RAMSEY'S FINANCIAL PEACE
UNIVERSITY- A new class to start in January. Call the church office
if you would like to participate. $100 for materials.

Our District Superintendent, Dr. Mervin Smith, has challenged our churches to
a focused, directed, unified prayer effort during the month of January. Please
pick up a prayer calendar at the church and take the challenge.
